February is almost over, and if we can get through March, I’m convinced everything will be better because it’ll be lighter (longer days), brighter (so many more people vaccinated) and happier (see lighter and brighter). I am a huge fan of Yoga with Adriene and I’ve done her 30-day yoga journeys before, but when her latest one Breath came out, I just couldn’t get myself to commit to doing it. Part of it might be that the Day One video is 48 minutes long, and every time I thought about starting, I came to a halt. However, that video is an exception; most clock in at under 30 minutes, and now seems like the perfect time to commit to starting or ending each day with yoga to transition us from winter to spring.
Adriene is pretty legendary, but what I like most about her isn’t that she can do a forearm handstand or another impossibly aspirational pose, instead she’s friendly and down-to-earth. She’s also in Austin, TX and right now she’s using her resources to marshal volunteers and aid where it’s needed most. #inspirational
Finally, if you’re a yoga newbie or a sometime yogi, committing to a daily practice for a finite amount of time will let you see visible progress in your breath, poses and attitude. I’m starting this 30-day journey on Saturday, but you could also start it today or wait until March 1. If you’re in, let me know @stylechallengers and we’ll encourage each other. If yoga isn’t your thing, what else can you do to count down the next month and keep your spirits up until spring?
At this time Style Challengers doesn’t receive any commission from products we recommend. We’re just telling you what we love because we love it!
